Assoc. Vu Cuong is our Collaborator - a Consultant in the area of Public Sector (including Policy Review, Public Finance, ...) at TDI Consulting, and also the Head of Department of Public Economics, Faculty of Planning and Development, National Economics University.

Mr. Cuong has long-term consulting experience in the fields of Project Management, Public Financial Management, Development Planning, Administrative Reform and Capacity Building, and Policy Recommendations relating to health, education, transportation, agriculture, etc. He has expertise and in-depth understanding of ODA project management, planning, budgeting and results-based management.

Mr. Cuong has participated in many scientific research projects at the State and ministerial level as a chairperson and had scientific articles and presentations at major national and regional scientific conferences. Meanwhile, he has also appeared in many books, textbooks and documents for the University and for agencies and departments of the Ministry.

With a deep understanding of Vietnam's political, legal, financial and investment policy framework, he has worked directly with government agencies such as the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Training, etc, and local authorities at all subnational tiers, as well as development partners such as World Bank, ADB, UNDP, UNICEF, UNIDO. His skills in support, training and research are always appreciated for excellence.

Degree: Mr. Cuong graduated with a Master of Public Administration from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs (Syracuse University, USA) and Doctor of Development Economics from National Economics University. Mr. Cuong also participated in many training courses abroad (Japan, Canada, Australia,...)
